Deep in the forest
The fog and the light make the shot. Took several attempts to get that right.
Taken about a year ago during a morning tour around Eibsee. The fog was so thick that photographing the lake was out of the question – until later when I got the island shot – so I concentrated on the forest. This tree wasn’t actually so deep in the forest, maybe a total of ten paces from the path.
